Write for us
Prime Food Journal welcomes well-focused contributions that help readers understand food information, ingredients, processing, sourcing language or food claims. Send proposals through the Contact page; unsolicited full drafts are not required.
What we welcome
Pitch clear explainers, comparisons, background pieces and reader-focused accounts of how food information works. A strong idea answers a specific question, names its intended reader and offers a distinct angle rather than repeating broad advice about eating well.
A useful pitch
Include a working title, a short summary of the central point, the proposed category and a few notes on the information you would use. Flag any limits, uncertainties or country-specific details. We do not accept pitches that depend on unsupported health promises or professional advice.
How to send it
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial enquiry option. Include any relevant experience or links to published work if you wish, but do not include private information you do not want to share. A proposal is not a guarantee of commissioning or publication.
A label is a starting point, not a verdict.
We explain what food information says, what it leaves unanswered and which questions are worth asking next.
