Editorial policy
Prime Food Journal aims to make food information understandable without overstating what a label, claim or explanation can establish. We separate description from interpretation and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and clarity
Articles are written to explain a defined topic in plain language. We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication, distinguish established information from interpretation, and avoid turning a general explanation into personal dietary or medical advice. Where details vary by country, product or context, we make that limit clear.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise coverage or favourable treatment in exchange for support.
Corrections
If you spot an error or an unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and point at issue. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted, making significant changes clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Partner-supported material and paid placements are identified clearly so readers can distinguish them from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are presented as illustrations rather than documentary evidence.
A label is a starting point, not a verdict.
We explain what food information says, what it leaves unanswered and which questions are worth asking next.
